This World Habitat Day, we honor the belief that everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. For more than three decades, the United Nations has stood firm: housing is a human right, not a privilege.

Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity International has empowered over 59 million people to build or improve their homes. From October 6–13, 2025, we’re rallying support to raise $10,000 during World Habitat Day Giving Week—funds that will directly help families in Montgomery and Delaware Counties find stability through housing.
