About

I first got involved with Habitat for Humanity in 2009 when I joined my campus chapter while attending Penn State University. I had always loved the organization and admired its mission to ensure that everyone had a safe, affordable place to live. Little did I know Habitat would give so much more to me than I ever could have imagined. After participating in my first Collegiate Challenge in New Orleans alongside 27 other PSU students I had just met on the 30 hour drive down from State College, I knew I wanted to get more involved. I joined our chapter's board and became the Executive Director my senior year-it was by far the most rewarding experience of my college career. After graduating I found the nearest local Habitat affiliate wherever I moved to and would volunteer. Last spring, I was feeding my infant son in the middle of the night and came across a job opening at the Habitat MontDelco affiliate. I pursued the opportunity and was offered the position to fulfill my dream (I had shared so often with my husband) to work at Habitat for Humanity. I grew up in Delaware County and am so thankful for not only the wonderful community I was surrounded by, but to have lived in a home where I felt safe, and memories could be made with the people I love. I'm fortunate to play a very small role in our affiliate's work to create that same opportunity for community members in Montgomery & Delaware Counties.
I am excited to be joining my incredible, inspiring female colleagues as we participate in our 2025 Women Build. Please consider supporting our efforts by making a contribution towards our team's fundraising goal. Thank you so much for your help in advancing our mission to build homes, communities, and hope!
